The extra burden of Taiwan’s young students

The extra burden of Taiwan’s young students

Taipei is the capital and most prosperous city of Taiwan. There is a special phenomenon in this city. From Monday to Friday, people can see many young students come to here at afternoon. They come for cram schools. Near the train station many cram schools have been set there. Because of the convenient traffic, the place is a business metropolis. However, most students are here not fun. In fact, they are going to make additional efforts.
Those teenagers wear their uniforms, packing their heavy stuffs in the bags, and go to their additional class just right after school. As a matter of fact, students in Taiwan already stay longer in school than other countries’ students. However, since most of them are eager to attend good college, they have to get higher grades at the examination. Those students come to cram school, and always look so tired. They spare no time for other activities, because they can’t. This phenomenon shows not only a special scene in this city, but also the problems in Taiwan’s school system. Does our school education not good enough for students? Dose there is something wrong of our way of teaching? Those cram schools’ existences remind us of those questions.

  1. 1. You should focus on the education system rather than just describe the existence of cram schools.

    2. I suggest that you can divide your article into three paragraphs--- the keynote in the first paragraph, the further explanations, details and discussion in the second, the conclusion in the third. So that your article may look more organized and make people clearer about your idea!
